We had a fantastic stay at this hotel located on the beautiful Hardangerfjord. The views from our room were breathtaking, with snowy mountains, a river, and the fjord all visible. The balcony was a great addition, allowing us to fully enjoy the stunning surroundings. The hotel even had a charging station for electric cars, which was very convenient. There was a grocery shop conveniently located just across the street. The pool and sauna were also highlights of our stay, although keep in mind their unusual working hours. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with options that changed daily.

This place is in an SUPERB location. The pool was a delight. Even the Bergen Flesland airport was not so far.

nice touristic places like tunet were close to the hotel. free wifi worked well. we appreciated hardangerfjord.

I loved the Wi-Fi, now I could post glamorous pictures of the fabulous view of the Folgefonna Glacier from the garden terrace. Plus, the front desk was open 24/7, because you never know when I might need a gift shop at midnight.

No fridge in the room? What am I supposed to do with my precious supply of caviar and champagne?

Very small bathroom. Rooms are expensive compared to other parts of Europe and this would not rate as a 4-star in other countries, but the hotel is perfectly adequate.

however the staff and facilities are poor and it was very overpriced! no food available after 9pm and a rubbish cold breakfast. very poor for a £200 room/night.

The room I was upgraded to was spacious and had a lovely bath, which was a pleasant surprise for a solo traveler like me. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The sitting area with a view was a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The Wi-Fi connection was strong, and the free parking was a convenient feature.
